Dr. Holden is the Executive Head of the Albert Einstein Institute in Panama City, Panama, and a doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge. Born near London, England, Dr. Holden has been a university and K-12 educator in both the private and public education systems of Europe, North, and Central America for more than 30 years.

Adam is a former semi-professional athlete, playing competitive soccer for over a decade in England. Dr. Holden has received multiple “Outstanding Achievement in Education” Awards and has a Citation for Distinguished Professional Service from the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Adam has been a Regional Associate for the National Catholic Educator Association, and has served on the International Partnerships Advisory Council for the National Association for Secondary School Principals. Dr. Holden has completed Head of School training with the International Baccalaureate Organization in all levels of the program: Diploma, MYP and PYP, and has been the head of several IB World Schools. Adam is a two-time recipient of the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award, from the United States Department of Education, and under his leadership, the Department of Teacher Education at Fort Hays State University became nationally ranked at #12 (elementary) and #3 (secondary) in US News and World Reports.

Adam has multiple publications on Digital technologies and Blended Learning, serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Online Learning Research, and Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education, and has been a contributor to ASCD’s SmartBlog on Education. Adam is a highly-regarded TEDx speaker on digital innovation in education with international keynote engagements in Asia, Europe, and North & Central America in recent years. Adam is a Google Certified trainer specializing in online learning, blended learning, unconscious bias, and the development of open education resources.
